OUR BOATS

We operate four vessels from Portree Harbour, in the Isle of Skye. All of our vessels are fully MCA coded and insured for 12 passengers and 2 crew.

MV STARDUST

The original boat of our fleet, operating our Original Sea Eagle Wildlife Trip. She has been part of our fleet since 1998. She is a monohull, 3 metres wide by 10 metres long, and an excellent and comfortable sea boat.

WAVEDANCER

CONTACT US

Wavedancer was added to our fleet in 2022. She is also a catamaran and also operates our Catamaran Sea Eagle & Wildlife Experience, and is one of two vessels that can operate our Kilt Rock/Isle of Rona Whale Trail. This boat offers a viewing platform up forward, which is an excellent vantage point for dolphin-spotting and taking in some of Skye’s spectacular scenery. There is also a comfortable and spacious seating area on the main deck.

SAORSA OF SKYE

Our fast RIB launched in 2021, Saorsa of Skye is a fast and agile boat, capable of covering a great distance on our trips. This boat can get you closer than ever to Skye’s fantastic sea cliffs and wildlife. She operates the Sea Eagle and Wildlife RIB Experience tour and boasts a spacious area up forward to move about to glimpse some of the amazing animals we hope to see – ideal for when we’ve got some dolphins on our bow!

SAORSA NA MARA

Our newest addition to the fleet in 2024, Saorsa na Mara (translating as ‘Freedom of the Seas’ in English) is a 42ft Interceptor monohull, equipped with a very large deck space, which allows for plenty of moving around to get some great photos of the stunning wildlife and scenery. Although a monohull, her sea-keeping capabilities are such that she also operates our Catamaran Sea Eagle & Wildlife Experience, as well as our Kilt Rock/Isle of Rona Whale Trail.

SEE SEA EAGLES

Experience up close the famous Isle of Skye Sea Eagles with their majestic large wingspans. The Eagles fly close to our boat tours and are nested along the coast of the Sound of Raasay.

EXPLORE SEA CAVES

Our Boat tours of the Isle of Skye will allow you to see amazing Isle of Skye landscape including sea caves which are home to a wide array of wildlife. Our boats will allow you to get up close to these unique rock formations to provide great photo opportunities!

Stardust II was added to our fleet in 2014 and is one of the two boats that operates our Catamaran Sea Eagle & Wildlife Experience, and is one of two vessels that can operate our Kilt Rock/Isle of Rona Whale Trail. This catamaran offers a fly-bridge as well as a comfortable and spacious seating area on the deck, and she can provide some stunning views and photo opportunities, as well as a safe, smooth and comfortable trip.
